Hand Stand Bioloid Humanoid Simulation

The simulation was rendered using Simulink and a pricise model of Bioloid Humanoid. The control technique involved 2 stages. The first (pumping) is a normal PD control. The second (close to the hand-stand position) uses an optimal control technique – LQR (Linear Quadratic Regulator).
The humanoid was reduced to a 3-body inverted pendulum model.

Episode Six of Wow Wee Robot Wars. Robosapien battles the evil Roboquad, while trapped on the Robot planet, until an unexpected ally comes through the Time Tunnel to rescue Robosapien. Visuals inspired by Jeff Wayne’s – The War Of The Worlds Techno remix. Extensive use of Vue 6 Esprit for CGI landscape and animation. A prototype Dalek makes an appearance in this episode.

This hexapod is based on the V4 design, however, this version has some significant differences: Aluminium constriction, larger more powerful Tibia servos, and a new p.Brain-ds on-board locomotion engine based on a dsPIC30F device.

This spider robot is special in that unlike natural spiders that have eight legs it only has six legs. It is not a six legged spider it is a six legged ROBOT spider!

T-Hex 4 DOF hexapod, short demo

T-Hex is a hexapod with 4 DOF per leg. Mech inspired body design. Running a modified version of the Phoenix V2.0 written by Jeroen Janssen (aka Xan). The onboard program runs on a Basic Atom Pro 28 mcu from Basic Micro. Just a little demo of T-hex moving and walking around. Sorry for the bad video quality from my old mobile phone. I’ll post something better later.
