How do I wrap this present?
I am giving someone a robosapien v2 for christmas. the item is brand new but the box was very messed up and torn all over the place so i am taking it out of box and rewrapping it. This item is 24 inches and pretty heavy. I dont know how to wrap this without the box. would i put it in another gift box with tissue paper? i dont have another box that is that large and dont know where to find a 24 inch gift box..how should i wrap this? p.s i would use the original box it came with but trust me when i say it is not useful at all, the whole thing is falling apart.
where can i find huge gift bags or really big gift boxes?
A large gift bag with colorful tissue would work and be inexpensive. You could always double bag it to allow for the weight and ribbon the handles together, to make one set of handles. I have bought huge gift bags before, and they work great for items such as this and are pretty under the tree.

I would leave it in the box it is in, then go out to some grocery or department store and ask them if they have a box big enough for the original box to fit in. Stores usually have a area around back where they throw excess boxes out to be crushed in a trash compactor and will let you have them if you wish. Put the original down inside of this box, then wrap it in Christmas paper. This way the item still is in the original container and still looks new so the person doesnt think you got them something used.

I would probably wimp out and put it in a gift bag. You might have to look in a gift/speciality shop like Hallmark, but you should be able to find a bag that’s large enough and tough enough for the Robo.

ask a local store for a empty box- grocery stores have a bunch of big boxes.

Get a large gift box
Inside the gift box put:
1 layer of tissue paper (any colour)
Sprinkle glitter in the box
Wrap the present in a few layers of the tissue paper and then close the box.
Pick your favorite gift wrap and wrap it normally .

I’d head to an Electronics store and ask them if they have any large boxes you could have. Lets be honest here they get HUGE boxes, that or a cost co type place . You can also get REALLY BIG gift bags, but they are more like a decorative garbage bag
