How do I find a book that I don’t know the author or title, just the story line?

I read it in the early 80’s. A woman gets kidnapped and taken to a different "time". She is made to pretend that she is the queen as the real one has been hidden by her loyal followers. She gets sold into slavery and thru twists and turns by both political groups the real queen is the one hunted down and killed. It’s Fantasy and as far as I can remember, quite explicit.

You don’t. I’ve tried (have been trying) to find a book for over six and a half years now. It’s not an obsession, I rarely think about it, but when I do it pisses me off. Have fun, and good luck.
