Does the quality of Text to Speech apps improve on Android phones when the OS is upgraded to 2.1?

Thursday, July 8th, 2010

I currently have a motorola cliq running android 1.5.

Does the quality of the text to speech voices improve when the operating system is upgraded to 2.1?

Also, what is the best text to speech app? I DON’T need an app that reads your texts. I need a text to speech app that speaks what you type into the phone, because I’m non-verbal.

Yes, the 2.1 version is much better but I am not sure of any good speech to text.

Monday, July 5th, 2010

There was a computer animated show (not cartoon animated) in the late 90’s or early 2000’s where it was about an android/robot younger brother and older sister who would fight to save the world and they liked to spend time in a restaurant. Maybe one of the siblings worked in the restaurant?

it could possible be cyborg 009 but i may be wrong. if androids are your thing i suggest you watch android kikaider.

cyborg 009, episode 18 story of a struggling restaurant

What is the best android calendar for multiple phones?

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

My wife and I both have the htc incredible and would like to figure out the best way to have synchronized calenders. The android marketplace is infested with calendars and I have no clue what my best option is. Basically I just want each of us to be able to add a calendar event and have it show up on both phones.

I rather like Android Agenda

Just config it so you show the SAME Google Calendar on both phones. You may have to "share" the calendar with the other Google account on the computer first. The calendar are specific to the account, but can be shared with other accounts.
