@KillerCetchupTV Installing Android on the iPhone is just for fun , just to see how it looks like. I’m not going to buy an Android phone just to see that…. I don’t think someone will buy an iPhone to use Android either. It’s just cool IMO and bring something special on the iPhone.

I realize how new …
I realize how new this is to iPhone, but it seems sluggish, and not very good. Once you take the time to run the command line and everything else, you could have went out a bought some HTC phone. The iPhone is meant for iOS, if you want to put a different OS on it, or jailbreak, iPhone isn’t for you.

@THExSE7ENxSINS you replied to my dual boot comment… so I figured… Virtualization isn’t really running multiple operating systems. Each OS is programmed to communicate directly with the machine, and only one OS can do that at a time. Even when you run a virtualization you have one OS running, then one running inside of it, being told the low level OS is the machine. It has to follow the process schedule of the OS communicating with the processor (therefore isn’t really running)

@joefrank1982 I don’t exactly understand what you’re trying to say, perhaps I shouldn’t have been as nit picky, but I was talking about what he said. He said “this is a dual booting system, so that means that we can only run one operating system at the same time and we have to reboot to switch between OS”, and while you DO have to do this, it’s not BECAUSE it’s a dual booting system. There is no magic flag on your harddrive that is set when it becomes dual bootable that makes you have to reboot.

@scwounch Nope it’s your opinion and it can be very subjective. Freedom to do what? Freedom to tinker with a phone whole day or freedom to spend that time doing something more valuable. I would get a phone that just works and use the time saved to do something more important for me. Again it’s just my opinion. Anyway IOS 4 is a big leap from iPhone OS 3.2 and looks very resourceful and rich.
